Sensor System Development/Processing/Data Collection

Summary Description

Development, integration, and advanced processing of state-of-the-art digital sensors and data collection/processing technology. The responsibilities include multi-INT sensor system design, development, integration, data collection, and data processing. In addition to design and development of EO/IR optics, focal plane array, electronics, and other sensor technology. Similar positions exist for developing/enhancing post acquisition sensor, signal processing algorithms and AI algorithms for real-time imagery display and exploitation, design and integration of electronic hardware and software for sensor data processing, acquisition, and dissemination.

Qualifications

BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physicist or equivalent. Experience in signal, image, and data processing with knowledge of analog and digital electronics. Experience in system hardware design. Knowledge in some or several of these areas is preferred:

  • Xilinx SOC FPGA hardware design using RTL in VHDL and embedded software design.
  • Printed Circuit Board design using Altium Designer.
  • Electronic component and sub-system design and integration.
  • Familiar with Aerospace wiring best practices for systems.
  • Real-time signal processing for electro-optical and infrared sensors.
  • Image enhancement/processing
  • AI algorithm development and deployment with CUDA GPUs
  • Experience with C/C++, MATLAB, optics, focal plane array and sensor technology desired.
  • Must be a U. S. citizen and have an existing DOD SECRET security clearance.
